Raheem Sterling became the hero of England's victory with the hat-trick he created. Another England goal was scored by captain Harry Kane (a penalty) and another goal from suicide Tomas Kalas.
The opening goal of the Manchester City club striker in this match, on the 24th minute, was created by Jadon Sancho's assist.
Sancho, 18, is a young Borussia Dortmund star who in this match started for the first time with a Three Lions uniform. He claimed to be satisfied, especially because he could play with his role model - Sterling.
"He (Sterling) is a great player," Sancho told beIN Sports. "We can see it on and off the field."
"He is a humble person and I really like being able to field him. I clearly see him as a role model, and being a starter with him feels great."
England has made a perfect start. A victory over the Czech Republic could be a moral injection for a trip to Montenegro in the next match.
"It's a great match for us, a good start with a 5-0 home win and it feels special. What's more, I got my first start for England before the family."
"I am sure they will feel proud of me," he concluded.
